ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages the daily operation of the Instructional Materials Center. Operates the Ricoh 7210 and 8320 and any other additional equipment purchased and performs routine cleaning and maintenance. Serves as contact, place service calls when necessary, also orders parts and supplies for machines. Maintains a daily log of the work printed and work to be completed. Keeps inventory of paper and printing supplies current. Supports bookkeeper on bookkeeping records for the department, knowledgeable of account balances through computerized record keeping. Communicates with the Communications Director, manager of Financial Operations, Accounts Payable Clerk, and Purchasing Department regarding printed materials, record keeping and contract negotiations. Tracks inventory control documents and keeps procedures up to date. Assists with graphic design, computer/typing, collation, stapling, and/or punch/binding materials. Maintains continuity of the office. Assumes responsibility of any special assignment deemed necessary by Administration. Maintains established District Branding in all printed materials. Performs other duties as may be assigned. JOB SPECIFICATIONS EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma and/or two-year Associate Degree, typing, bookkeeping, office machines, general office procedures, skills in graphics operations, and computer skills. Graphic Design experience preferred. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
